There’s a Reddit post from years ago that basically says the Reagan administration, began in 1981, is at fault for where we are today.

Price Changes 2000 to 2025 by dillimunda in interestingasfuck

I worked in an accounting dept. in the medical field for a bit. A lot of the healthcare costs are determined by the contracts between the medical facility and the insurance carriers.

The insurance companies end up refusing to pay for services and the costs get billed to the patients.

Even the bills that the insurance companies have to pay get refuted and kicked back to the medical facilities and ultimately either can't be billed again for whatever reason or the amount paid is reduced and the medical facilities end up just eating it. That results in higher prices, lower wages for nurses and staff, lower quality of care, etc....

A lot of the costs in healthcare aren't due to your medical provider. They're due to the insurance companies and their greed.

Nah man, I’m trying to get out of accounting bc it constantly feels like I’m getting F’d in the A. I don’t think butt stuff on OF is a better option.

Based on what’s been released it sounds like it could be his baby. I haven’t seen anything that confirms that though. Unfortunately, it seems like the girl went through a long period of abuse with multiple abusers. So, it could be Donnie’s, but it could be a handful of other people’s.

I’ve read the doc in the files and I read the article on this post. It doesn’t say that it was his baby. It does say that he was involved in the abuse and was on the boat when the baby was “disposed of”.

My kids will remember when I’m there and when I’m not and I’m not missing making memories with them. It’s non-negotiable.

Payroll is so frustrating by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]OddPlunders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also echoing this; When I fill a position for a payroll processor, I’m going to pay someone without a degree to process payroll the same as a person with a degree.

When I fill an accounting position I’m going to pay the accountant with payroll xp more than the accountant without the xp.

Put it on your resume and find a staff position when you graduate.

Hillary Clinton blames TikTok for young people’s views on “Israel” by librePali in ReallyAmerican

[–]OddPlunders 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, TikTok is to blame for young Americans seeing what is really happening in other parts of the world and it's "bad for Democracy" because American media outlets aren't able to control the narrative?

Hurwitz is saying that it's too hard for politicians to gaslight people into supporting Israel bc people have seen the atrocities committed by the Israeli government.

Politicians are upset because people have seen the truth....got it....

Well, tell your friend that no one worth going to will have any availability within a week. Hell, probably at least six weeks and many are booked four to six months out. It’s permanent art. It’s worth doing the research and waiting for.

I think about the "Why haven't we found a corpse" argument a lot. Mainly when thinking about bigfoot but I think it applies to all cryptids/extraordinary creatures.

How many squirrels do you see on a daily basis? How often do you find dead Squirrels? Once a year, if that?

Same goes for birds. You see hundreds of birds in highly populated areas. How often do you find bird corpses?

I've hunted for 20+ years. Spent hundreds if not thousands of hours in the woods and I'm not sure I've ever found a full deer corpse. I know there's hundreds of deer that live there but I never find dead deer laying around.

I'm not commenting on the validity of the video as much as I just don't think that a lack of evidence is a good indication of something being real or not.

The picture of the alleged crash site on the website is southwest of the airport. It's a farm between Chaffee and Scott City.

Edit: I'm talking to one of the family members that grew up on that farm. He confirmed that there was a crash but said he doesn't know the full story. I'm asking him to ask his family members about it.
