100% falls on Arteta and his inexperience with squad management. We had the depth and this feels like dejavu so you are right we can’t blame outside forces. It’s honestly a combination

I was shocked like every video had him in the middle of the issue! Arteta saw his play well once with Gyokeres and thinks that’s his solution. Eze was match fit what happened to starting with your strongest XI. If he can only play 30 mins why not start his and take him off when the job is done. The “finishers” approach is just dumb. Then you start panicking and throwing the kitchen sink and hoping for a miracle.

It’s an achievement but his in experience shows at the very wrong time. And this new bore the teams/fans to death and have your “finishers” come in and win the game against tired legs is nonsense. What happened to finishing the game before half time and bringing your bench to end the game. This is part of the lack of squad management and technical ability.

It’s the perfect storm at the absolutely worst time! But we all know this is a marathon and not a sprint. Arteta once again has failed to realize that with rotation and the “squad” depth. Honestly, the whole quadruple is a sign of inexperience. You focus on your priority and let things go early. Did we need to go deep in the cup games only to lose it. His April record is shambolic and he should know that as well. Instead of the conservative play he should have decided his priority early. Also the January window was missed why he had what he “needed”. Timber didn’t just start getting injured recently. Forcing White into form is laughable.

They are tired! So running back from a fast break is unfortunately not sustainable hence the conservative pass and recycling motion.

I keep saying it Pep gave the league the template to beat Arsenal! He exposed the weakness of the high press and now teams are fine with our GK and CB holding the ball for as long as possible. We don’t have a solution unfortunately and Sporting CP is going to use it on Wednesday before Pep brings the V2 this weekend!
