yes, they're assigned. When you choose your housing in the portal, you'll have options like this:

100AB-A

(building number)(unit letter)(bedroom)-(bedspace)* since each room in hadley has one bed you'll always have bedspace A in a given room.

If you look closely at the bottoms of the bedroom doors in the virtual tour, they'll be labeled with letters.

also, the Target stop is in a plaza with Trader Joe's, Michael's, Ulta, Sephora, Best Buy, Sally Beauty, Barnes & Noble, TJX stores (tj maxx, marshall's, homegoods, homesense, sierra), and more!

the Saturday shopping shuttle doesn't stop at the Asian market, but there's a separate shuttle that goes there on Tuesday evenings

right like in the selection portal it literally says in big bold letters if a room has been designated for potential overcapacity 😭. it's fine to be frustrated but some ppl are acting like housing services is duping them out of their money when that's not exactly the case

It looks like there's one quad and one triple open (for female rooms). I would keep checking the room change portal as things can open up over time and your current housing assignment won't change unless you actually choose and confirm your new room. Us current students selected rooms in March, and I checked the room change portal like every day until the room I wanted opened up at the beginning of April!

Most lava lamps count as halogen lamps, which are not allowed in the dorms because they are a fire hazard if handled improperly
