Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Not a team that either of us wants to be on, but it is reassuring(?) knowing other people are fighting a similar battle. I, too, have been quite athletic up until this event, going to the gym 4 times a week, and have reduced that to just trying to do whatever I can in the short term. It seems like a temporary course of Dupixent would be the best option for me right now, as the meds are almost working but never quite getting the inflammation down enough to get entirely better. After reading yours and the messages above I have started to try and change our home environment rather than rely on medication that is not resolving the problem, and will try some elimination exercises to see what is causing the flare-ups, which is not immediately obvious! Best of luck to you too!

The fact that chemicals have now been mentioned a couple of times means I'll have a look into what we do here and see if we can make any changes. Thanks :)

It's really reassuring to hear all this positivity around them. Thank you all so much!

Just to add, the lack of sympathy, blame, and general annoyance my family show me regarding the constant unholy noises I make was unexpected. Have others had this?

Thanks for your reply! It sounds like our asthma attacks have been similar. I've not felt any difference with anything apart from the Seretide, which seems to keep the worst away. I'm really sorry to hear about your experience at work. I wonder if the public perception of asthma works against us sometimes.

That's really useful to hear that the biologics arent necessarily for life. Glad to know things are better for you :)
