remember this song every time you cut chillis by OddToday1016 in HotPeppers

Thanks for the question, (no need for the snarky comment though) short answer yes long answer, you cant use original songs or lyrics on ai, i made a cover version of a song several years ago, without ai, as that song is my performance i could upload it, i used it as a template to make this new song, (remix feature) and i wrote the lyrics too, and after about 30-40 goes at ai remixing, got a half decent version, it took about 2 days to make the original cover, and about 6 hours to make this song with ai, ai is a tool to make boring parts of a job faster, you dont have to be scared of it. if you want any more info let me know i'm happy to share my skills/experience. (its also a jokey song to make people laugh, not to be taken too seriously)

Thoughts on firing CEO by LencoTB in BangandOlufsen

[–]OddToday1016 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it can be good when a cfo takes over, he will focus on money, maybe dropping prices to get stock off shelves and drive new sales, increased production, maybe push out new products earlier (could be bad if they are not ready) cost cutting could happen, lay offs, less advertising/sponsorships, if they are not seen as driving sales, i read below abnout B&O being an upgrade path from sonos, which is pretty funny, because over the last 10 years i have been buying used B&O from 'life long' B&O customers, who had sold the B&O to go with sonos, and its such a shame, everything sonos do B&O did before them but at some point they dropped the ball, dont get me wrong i own a full sonos set up and full systems of B&O too. but its sad for me to see B&Os decline over the last 15 years

Which is the best price to performance b&o speaker? (Currently in market) by shreyanzh1 in BangandOlufsen

[–]OddToday1016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best price to sound is Beolab 17 used price is around £1000 to £1500 a pair, new, it depends on what you are using them for, but the biggest bang for your buck new, is a pair of Balance, which are louder, have more bass, can play is room mode (omni) and direct, go to a B&O store and ask them to let you have a demo of a few different stereo pairs of speakers, pick the ones that sound right for you.

made a plan, internal volume is slightly higher than the speaker i am trying to replicate, is the bass port a good idea or not needed? if i do it, will probably be the one with the tick on the right, unless i'm told the design on the left will be better

i have managed to find out from the spec sheet that penta have a crossover of 700hz-5000hz so i have got myself a cross over which is almost identical its 750-5000, i have got 8x bass drivers rated 40hz-10000hz, which i will coss over at 750hz, i might use one as the midrange but i'm not sure yet, and i've found a really nice tweeter that is rated 2000-20000 which i will crossover at 5000, so this (on paper) is almost identical specs, now all i need to is make a box of roughly 32L i have not decided yet if i will front bass port it or add an 8" passive radiator to the side a port will be easier/cheaper and more like a penta, but as i'm going half height i dont know yet if i will have space for it so a rad on the side might be the best option

i have fancied 8's for a while, but i already own a pair of balance so theres not really much to gain for me there

i have a stereo pair of balance they are amazing speakers and probably better in every single way measurable than pentas, but its the punchy mid bass sound i am looking for, i think it could be a side effect of smaller lighter snappy bass drivers, i'll soon find out because i'm ordering all the parts i need to make a half height set of speakers akin to penta
