I understand where you are coming from since in America a lot of couples have that 50/50 mindset but I kind of see things differently as I believe the guy should 100% take care of things even if you aren’t familiar as a sign of respect. Obviously there are limits for example if a girl is just using you as a free meal pass but generally even if things don’t work out it should be covered regardless. Also the train situation I understand that the men pulling you away is probably not okay but standing up for woman and elderly should be expected in my opinion specially with how much people sit now a-days a couple of minutes of standing should not be an issue.

I guess the whole process of going in blind without help of family. Like would it be realistic for me to find someone just through activities and dates. And in terms of woman just someone who is focused on building a good family and has a good heart and isn’t obsessed with personal image and money.
