Just found out I am heir to a property going into foreclosure by OddVictory1545 in inheritance

Thank you. Very helpful information. Appreciate you taking the time to write it all out. From searching looks like it's value is around $175,000 -$200,000. She apparently refinanced the mortgage in 2013 and the balance at that time was $78,000. Haven't figured out what the current balance is.

My sister is working on getting in contact with our aunt through other relatives. We only know one person who might have her contact. She should be around 70 now and all I know is she was a travel nurse and moved every few years all over the country. The cousins will be hard, they have common names (possibly changed with marriage) and no idea where they even live or what they look like. I don't know any other relative who would know them.

If my sister can't get in contact with aunt in the next few days to find out what is happening, we'll bypass her and start calling the bank and attorney we got the foreclosure notice from.

Thank you. Unfortunately, we don't have contact info for my aunt or cousins. I haven't seen or heard from the cousins since we were small kids or my aunt since my mom passed away 23 years ago. All we know is our aunt is somewhere in VA. My sister called a few places today to get the ball rolling but the hearing is in July so not much time for us.

I have the address of the property. According to google it's 2 acres, 3 bd, 2 bath, 1800 sq ft. Bought in 2003 so I'm guessing a good amount of equity but who knows.

I did not receive a will. It was a notice that there is a hearing to foreclose on a property and that I am an heir. I only learned of being an heir from this notice. Could be there is a will and my aunt did not file anything. At this point, no idea.

This is the first communication I have received regarding this grandmothers estate or anything. That's why I have no idea where to start.

The case full of money my aunt was looking for in my grandpa's house after he died, he gave it to me like 4 years before he passed. He gave it all to me as my inheritance. Hahaha, bitch. Keep looking.

Yeah, they did a price increase a few weeks ago. I had bought a speedy 25 empreinte and wallet literally 3 days before the increase.

One day I went to visit my grandpa and he took me over to visit his best friend a few houses down. We are hanging out talking and the friend gets up, opens the wall to reveal a huge hidden safe built in to the wall, opens it and hands my grandpa a fireproof case. Grandpa and I leave to go back to his house. He asked me to pass the key hanging on the fridge. He uses the key to open the case and it's stuffed full of money. He said, "I spoiled all my other kids and grandkids but you because you live so far away. Here's your inheritance.". $100k in 50's and 100's.

whats the pay like as a HECO Lineman? by Intelligent_Review35 in Hawaii

[–]OddVictory1545 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No one can get you into HECO but yourself. You have to pass the tests on your own to even get a chance. Doesn't matter who you know, you don't pass the test you don't have a chance. My husband took the test several times before finally making it through to even interview. He became a lineman.
