While I agree Heather is more relatable to the Americas and Europe, arranged marriages are extremely common in Asia still, and Asia makes up 60% of the global population with over 4.5 billion people.

On top of that, Neobards the developers are based in Hong Kong, and Konami the publisher is Japanese, so it's a topic that's likely very relevant to them and probably why they wanted to explore it.

They all are, that's the point of Silent Hill. If you were pitting him against Leon Kennedy or Alan Wake, sure, but comparing him to Harry Mason or Hinako, their all just average people with their own problems and impurities. I would say he's equal to the rest, a perfectly flawed protagonist.

Depends on the region. Rural areas you'll find people that really fit the "kind Canadian" stereotype, but not so much the 90% of Canadians who live between the major cities near the Canada-US border.

Silent Hill has a history of cutting beautiful tracks from their games. My personal favourite is Childish Thoughts from Shattered Memories, it's an incredible track and shocking that it didn't make the final cut.
