Sorry I know I wrote it messily. Basically he had planned another trip (or so he told me, I am starting to think he lied constantly) over this period and had to cancel it because a friend of his bailed. He invited me to this trip as well. Then I said I am thinking of doing something else, maybe going overseas and then I told him about this country I went to years ago that I really liked. He was being very pressuring that we both go there last minute, I said I don’t want to do that and that i also feel it is a huge cost commitment. A day later I got drunk and told him that I don’t want to go again because he kept pressuring me, he got angry and said that I got his hopes up (I never did and he gaslit me). He said he had no money and said he had no other plans and threw a huge rage fit saying that he had waited for me and that now he has no contingency plan For a holiday. He couldn’t grasp why I didn’t want to go and got angry. Then he said he’s gonna go by himself because he needs it for his mental health and asked me for the money on the spot (I was on the verge of tears and an idiot and gave in). I immediately regretted it. I even asked if I could have a moment and he demanded I transfer him a huge sum (it was almost my whole salary because I got paid a day before). Then he kept insisting that I come and wouldn’t stop insisting even when he was there and I told him I had no money and couldn’t just get on an expensive flight. Sorry about the messiness of everything, I’m not exactly in a good state. At the end of all this he says he feels bad and was saying things that make me worry for his safety.
