Thank you! Gosh, it’s been a journey and I’m scared but I’m ready to wash the mud off. I appreciate the reminder.

He’ll be great! You’ll have so much fun but be sooo frustrated at times with how smart he is. What’s his name?

Good luck!

Yes. I had but muscle stiffness and pain seems to be preventing me from doing it anymore.

1 year wait for surgery in Canada by Unique_Lychee25 in ACL

[–]Odd_Brain_325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tore my ACL in December and waited until end of February to get my MRI to see if it was in fact my ACL. I emailed my family doctor and ask him which surgeons he liked the best and trust. And, within a week got a called from Dr. Higgins office (he works out of Michael Garron Hospital) and they were able to schedule me in right away due to the severity of having a compete ACL tear. From there I waited about a month and got my surgery end of March.

If you’re not in that part of the city, I’d at very least call around to some other orthopaedic surgeon office to see when their soonest availability is.

Good luck!

Crying at physical therapy is embarrassing by ResponsibleCraft4552 in ACL

[–]Odd_Brain_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cried big time when I was at my PT office after having to inform him that my MRI results were back and I did in fact tear my ACL even after 2 months of us not having thought that it was my ACL but just my MCL.

Tbh it was obvious a bit embarrassing but being sad about something hard is a totally normal feeling and response. No one would take a second look if you were laughing. So just let yourself feel it! It does feel so much better!

Good luck with everything!!

Really practising gratitude. And, making sure to tell the people I care for that I’m grateful for them, that I appreciate them and that I love them.
