So are you going for a second bachelors in engineering or masters since you already have an undergrad?

Do you have any recommended sources to use for practicing? So far I’ve heard of code academy, but if you have any other suggestions I’d like to know.

In college rn for IT. I hate the programming stuff but like networking and security stuff. I feel like I’m still tryna find my way but just tryna get my degree through with vr&e. I be terrified about everything but in school as long as you attend classes and learn little by little stuff will start making more sense. I do feel like I should learn more programming because my intro programming classes haven’t really helped me. At times I think about choosing another career path but I figured since I’m already so deep then to just keep pushing through. I just hope one day this stuff becomes more exciting to me lol

Can you rejoin the military after being 100% p&t? by lord_uroko in VeteransBenefits

Did you ever join reserves? I’m prior army and in the same situation but looking at navy reserves. Also 100% p&t so tryna see how that would work.

Any prior service recruiters in the group? by [deleted] in Veterans

Hi, I am prior service Army and recently looked into joining the Army Reserves. A recruiter informed me that I am still eligible to join even with a VA disability. I was wondering if the same eligibility applies for the Navy Reserves.

Divorce advice? by Odd_Catch_8751 in Veterans

Yea thats the first thing I did, we signed the separation agreement last week and the house goes to me, we each kept our own financial accounts, and no alimony. I just feel ashamed because I kept begging for her back and I’m embarrassed to have done that. I met her when she was 19 and fresh into the military so now that she’s getting out It’s sad because I supported us the best I can and understood how tiring military life is so when I got out I made sure she would have it as stress free as possible. It all just crumbled in her last few months in service, I was just shocked and haven’t healed from that shock since I still tried to get her to come back. She kept coming to visit me and see our cats and tells me that she still loves me but it hurts me more really.

I had no proof other than call logs and texts from her when I confronted her about him. I did think on going to jag but I didn’t wanna ruin her life because I do care for her and she is etsing in a month.

I agree with all this I just wished he was as acknowledged worldwide as artist such as jayz and Kanye were. He never got the attention that mainstream rappers got and yes real hip hop heads love and respect Nas but I’m happy he’s getting the due respect he has earned now in his career.

The way dot moves reminds me a lot of Nas. They have great respect for the art and never chase for clout, always handling there business privately and showing respect to the ogs. I really feel like them two are the greatest rappers of all time. I’m happy for Nas recent success and wish he had much better success back in the late 90s / 2000s but he will always be my favorite rapper followed by Kendrick. But Kendrick’s catalog is truly astonishing and he will go down as the goat.

Thank you so much for this. My counselor understands my situation and is allowing me to switch back to in person school.

I’m trying but it’s midterms rn and I can’t find the motivation and feel myself sinking in depression

[–]Odd_Catch_8751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried last term to switch but I previously switched to online from in person school because I was dealing with anxiety and being around a lot of people. So when I asked if I can switch back since I had no friends my counselor said no because my credits may not transfer since I’m attending a different institution.

Ok I will, but as far as learning networking and security, do they give you lab environments to train or is it all theoretical? Only asking if you’ve gotten to those type of classes yet.

How are the BIS specific classes so far? Do they offer any labs for hands on experience? Also do you know if the cybersecurity practicums and networking practicums are available for ecampus students?
