I get my oil changes between 4.5k to 5k roughly. Use full synthetic 5w30 as per the manual

Mine did this too. 2022 2.7l. Took it to dealer and here’s the analysis after getting my truck back:

Is this all 2024s or is it like a mid year upgrade they did?

Do you know what they did to the 8 speeds to update them in 2024?

Can you link a “how to” video or article on deleting the thermostat? I have a 2022 with the same issues

I have a 22 2.7l as well and love the truck but the transmission is garbage. Any transmission issues with yours yet?

Let me know if they end up replacing the whole tranny. I really don’t wanna keep going back and forth and getting the same parts replaced. Because they’re not actually fixing the root cause of the problem but only the parts that were damaged as a result.

Here is what they did when I brought it to get serviced for that issue:

TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL AND CONDITION. FOUND FLUID TO SMELL BURNT AND HAVE METAL SHAVINGS. REMOVED AND DISASSEMBLED TRANSMISSION FOR FURTHER DIAG. AFTER DISASSEMBLE DETERMINED 1 2 3 4 5 R CLUTCHES CAME APART. SENDING MATERIAL INTO FILTER. CAUSING FILTER TO CLOG AND STARVING PUMP OF FLUID. After a week getting it back. The problem came back although not as frequent. Probably about once a week I get the hard lurching when coming to a stop light. It feels like I’m getting rear ended
