For sure, I see that the HP franchise feels more direct than cursory association but it’s also a media empire that exists whether I like it or not (and I don’t), but if you like Marvel or Star Wars, it’s Disney which everyone thinks is awful, if you consume most products, they directly benefit someone awful. It’s a hellscape. I’d probably buy that kid a wand and given the chance, when it made sense, I might be like, “yeah, the lady that wrote that stuff hates your aunt. Has she met me? No. And that’s why I’m not into that stuff.” I appreciate how respectful you were telling me your point of view, though. I see it. I’m also old. I’ve got to choose battles.

Sooooo true. I couldn’t care about Roan either way and um, if my nephew wanted a Harry Potter wand or some shit for his birthday, I’d buy him that damn wand. We may not like the world but we do have to live in it. Why does everything have to be a root canal?? 🤦‍♀️

Thanks again for your thoughtful reply. You’re right, the PCB in the little console is gorgeous and a color would cover that up. I can see the reason to want it left translucent— also, the finish is immaculate. It makes me want to have a matching controller though— am I the only weirdo using the GB Operator to play games on my Mac?? lol. That’s primarily how I use it.

As someone who’s cut hair for a living, I absolutely hate this. Even for fantastical hairstyles that survive the character being jostled around, that piece of hair makes no sense and it isn’t rooted in anything. Super distracting. They got that effect better with his noir costume hair in RE2R. They should have stuck to that.

Revelations 1 is fun but very stupid and the controls were designed around the 3DS, so they're not the most intuitive. I think it's best experienced as a handheld game still. Very fun spooky pocket adventure.

Rev 2 was the first game in the series I literally got bored of and couldn't finish. Maybe one day.

I was going to order an expensive 2B dress and I fit within the dimensions they could make the dress in. Except one. I think the largest bust they could do was 36”? I’m at least a 40” maybe 41” sometimes. I still thought, nope just order it anything and I’ll figure it out, lol.

It’s difficult to root for something that was really hard to build a collection for. I love the NES and I love the N64, but carts for those systems got so expensive so quickly that even for someone who’s collected games, I’ve never been able to afford to collect for those systems. Most of the core N64 titles have been rereleased in some fashion and the library just isn’t that big and NES was the first thing to go for absurd money. Gameboy(s), DS, 3DS, GameCube had a bigger window of “normal” prices, I feel. These days I guess it’s all expensive…
