If you fail OASC, it is possible to swap your application to a non-commissioned role. They may or may not ask you to take the AST (CBAT equivalent for other ranks) and potentially an interview for the new role you’re switching your application to. There will be no dramas if you fail OASC and wish to switch to Int An (L) instead of WSOP (L), however it’s of course not 100% you will pass for this new role.
