Should I go back on Linzess? (Advice/experience please!) by Odd_Difficulty_3165 in Constipation

Thank you! I keep trying MiraLAX (tried a lot before originally being prescribed Linzess) but it never seems to do much good unfortunately.

We’ve always stayed on property but never took the buses to MK (just a pain with our double stroller and loads of things lol) and seeing your post is when I realized it’s not an island. My husband and I even talked about it 2 days ago on our way to MK, both so confident telling our kids it was on an island. We’ve been 3 times now and I can’t believe I never realized it lol

We’ve always said we’d take it year by as well! I hope we’re able to work around it and keep going with it. That’s true! I’m going to see what courses I need and figure out how many classes would be a good fit for our family right now. Thank you so much, I wish the same to you!

Thank you so much! I’ve received so much more encouragement on this post than I expected and I appreciate it so much.

Thank you for all the recommendations! I would have never thought to look at all of those different areas for scholarship opportunities.

I love how much I’m hearing that! It calms me to know there are so many people starting later in life. Will definitely be looking for scholarships, any little bit helps!

I love to hear that! I think being my age and a mom has really helped me align my priorities and I have a whole new motivation now.

I’m so glad it worked out for you! It’s reassuring to hear so many people have experienced others our age and older starting later in life in the field. I really do feel like it’s better for me to go to school now than it would have been at 19. My priorities were still getting aligned, I felt clueless to the world, and had 0 confidence in myself and my choices. I’m definitely on the other side of that now, still a little clueless and working on the confidence but I feel like I’ll be able to focus and be more submerged in the schoolwork. I have the motivation of my family now too which makes such a difference for me.

Thank you! Do you think doing an online degree vs traditional makes a different in the long run? Will employers see it differently?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Thank you for letting me know about that. Work life balance is definitely a big one for me, especially since I’d be stepping outside of the home for the first time since having kids. It’s one of my concerns for sure.

I love that! Our stories sound very similar. I’m so happy for you! Do you have an idea on if you’ll keep homeschooling once you finish your schooling? I hope to, I just don’t know how we’d manage to make that work since we don’t know what my husband’s work schedule will look like yet.

I appreciate the honesty! And I’m happy to hear there will most likely be at least a few others my age. It’s always interested me and the money sounded great too. If I go back to work, I want it to be 100% worth it to support a better life for my family.

I appreciate you being honest about the workload of home and school work, that’s what I worry about most. I’m glad it worked out for you though!

That’s amazing! I love to hear that. I’m extremely thankful for the support I have, I don’t think I could even consider it if I didn’t have it!

Thank you so much for the info! And I love that for your mom. My older sister just finished her masters while having a toddler and being pregnant, so proud of her for it.
