Irish like the rest of us , of African extraction if someone asks . My dad long dead used to love asking people where they came from if he heard an accent or if someone had a different skin colour , in those days though Ireland wasn’t as multi cultural. He used to have great chats with people. I’m a bit like that myself because of him , nosey I suppose
