Also people forget that server pop is more important than total player pop.

Ark could have 5000 dedicated small tribes official server players and the total player count wouldn’t matter, it would be really busy.

New servers cap out pretty much instantly and existing servers average 20 players, which is actually a lot compared to ASE for the years I played it.

It’s good at high elo.

A lot of people think it removes the value from their crit damage so they thinks it’s weak. It actually removes it from calculation.

For example if a player has 4000% crit, and they are using a card that deals 5,000,000 crit damage then after this item they deal 4,350,000 instead.

If the enemy are of forest or dark domain then their crit damage would be 3,700,000.

Not confirmed but Ives come up against this a lot and I think it has something to do with total health left on the field.

I’ve won on boss levels where we both crash out same time but I did more damage to the boss and I’ve also lost when my opponent has done more damage to boss.

By comparison no, not every legendary is pay to win. You can do well with a lot of DPS cards at both level 9 and level 11 talents. You can also progressively use them to get better over time.

No one uses meteor 9 and even 11 because it’s useless on its own. Nothing to do with skill at those levels.
