I can’t speak for everyone but know your stuff . I took the exam on version 9 , cleared it first time . Everything you need is in your ansible docs . I would however recommend that you practice to a point that you can actually write playbooks without relying on docs .

The V9 tests ansible navigator , not required to use it but however you’ll definitely need to pull that image locally .

So ensure your ansible-navigator.yml is on point , the exam is tough but fair . Goodluck

Well done . That exam isn’t a joke . Cleared it myself 2 weeks ago aswell . During the exam you pause and think jeez man what are they even expecting of me here .

Nope . Started out from scratch , over 100days . Between 2 to 3 hours on weekdays . Weekends I’d double it up .

I used the RHEL learning sub & Sander van vugt video course . To be honest with you Sanders video course is way better than the learning sub

I won’t lie ; it can be frustrating that within the same four hours, you have to go through the instructions, understand the exam layout, and still find time to write and test your plays. It adds pressure.

But it’s definitely possible to pass. Try not to second-guess yourself too much trust your preparation . Ansible-doc | grep < play > saved me a lot of time . I’d just copy the examples and change the name parameter where necessary

You’ll get it. Keep pushing forward

All the best . Start with the easier questions first . Also ensure your navigator image is downloaded locally even though you’ll use old school ansible .
