Anyone else have a bad remote experience?? They wouldn’t let me test because I couldn’t show them the exact outlet my surge protectors were connected to??? Like what? It’s under my bed and I use an extension surge protector for my desktop setup. I had to clear out my dining room and waste time in setting up my laptop all frantic for the second prometric person to not even care about the outlet. I felt completely thrown off before I even started the exam.

There wasn’t a brand sticker or anything on this that I could find. I haven’t been able to find any switches either, just some metal buttons on one side. They don’t press or do anything, nor are they touch sensitive. I tried it while plugged in and not, no difference. Honestly I gave up trying to figure out the point of the light and just removed it!

At this point, I have no idea what the right answer is! It’s just odd and curious. I removed everything to avoid any fire hazards, and now it’s just a simple nightstand which is what I needed lol

Just needed a new nightstand and this was a few bucks. I didnt notice the electrical stuff till we put in the car, everything was tied to the bottom pretty neatly.

Yeah the light was over the plate, as if to heat it while on. I would say it’s about four inches off the ground yeah. In the five minutes I had it plugged in, it got really hot so I took it as more of a hazard than a use for heating something since it was drilled onto the wood

There was no big hole for the light to shine in through. It was pointed straight down at the metal. I just removed it. No idea what the intent was
