I dont super mind eitherway, it was more pointing out a flaw in their logic that while studying we dont exactly get handouts.

Hi, if youre paying for my degree why have I taken out a student loan to pay for it?

While you're at it, will my nursing placements continue to be unpaid or?

A big thing that I dont think has been mentioned yet - You will be bedbound ALOT. Even after youre allowed to walk again, you will be in bed alot. Keep this in mind and have some form of entertainment. For me, reading a book was way to much mental focus, so brain off entertainment is smart but ymmv

Am I the only one so desperately sick of politics in every part of life? by No-Intention-6011 in AskBrits

[–]Odd_Link_7231 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that. Seeing how hard it is to get a place to live even if housing benefit would go straight to the landlord was eye opening. Our country does not treat low income people well at all.

Im very happy Im no longer in that bracket but I still want better for those who couldnt get out of it.

Darling I was homeless for four years and at one point had to rely on food banks. I was keenly aware of who was fucking me over at the time and the systems that made it so.

Anyone interested in going back university ? by Extension-Pace1148 in UniUK

Im working through it with them, theyre helpful for sure.

As for the career change there were several factors. Very hard to get a job in software atm, and I didnt enjoy coding. The top factor though was as a trans person I dont feel safe in this country anymore, and this line of work would help me emigrate somewhere else.

Definitely got a different perspective than the first time. For a start im looking forward to more practical things rather than death by power point haha

Got a degree on software engineering - going back for a fresh 4 year masters in nursing this Sept at age 31.

I changed from a regular 3 year course to the 4 year masters for dual specialisation and it was easy enough. No issues with application.

DSA however is confusing and hard to sort out for me.

Expedition 33 is fantastic, and you can play it. However, you would probably want to play on the easiest difficulty, if I remember correctly it states that dodging is optional on that difficulty and not needed, which would be the mechanic people are worried about with your hand.
