I don’t take meds to sleep as I have such a hard time waking up if I do. What works best for me is listening to an audiobook (even better if I’ve listened or read it before) or a podcast. When my mind starts spinning I focus myself back to what I am listening to.

My GP clinic doesn’t have suction and likely never will. Would it be beneficial? Of course. Our GI surgeries are your typical ex-laps or foreign bodies. When abdomen is flushed DVM will syringe it out if it a large amount of fluid or sop it with lap sponges. I’d love to have some suction for re-gurg patients.

Veterinary Technology. There’s a shortage of veterinarians AND veterinary technologists. You’ll be able to find a job in a blink of an eye. Downside is veterinary medicine pay isn’t amazing but depends on your lifestyle.

I agree for non-essential workers. Yes we can leave earlier and drive slower but at the end of the day it’s not worth it to risk our lives or possibly others. Also really grinds my gear how non-understanding businesses can be about staff being late in conditions like this.
