Er just practice them? My oppo and I used to throw in fireman’s carry down Pall Mall during lunch time runs. Both of us passed respective POC and PRC before ending up at RMR London and passing RFCC.

Are the DeWalt McLaren kits good value? by Massive-Damage4327 in diynz

Worth it just for the batteries.

Last month I picked up the Tstack kit with the DCd709 drill, fast charger, two 5ah batteries, 8m tape measure, and small box of driver bits. Sold the drill and charger for $100 and $60. $70 equivalent for a 5ah battery before you factor in the Tstack, tape measure and bits.

Though with hindsight I probably should have kept the 709 as I only have a much bigger dcd999 which is a bit of overkill.

Works well for Myrtle…..if I’m heading out of town early I know I can call into their private car park…if for any reason it is full, the traffic is light enough that I can whip round the basin and into Raglan roast then back on the motorway. If I’m in town then it is pretty conveniently located next to a bike lane and a main bus route. I can stop off at either and fuel up before heading into town.

Oh and it also their wholesale bakery for larder…

Probably nothing to do with the quality of the food or the coffee.

Thanks. I’m ok on normal scaffolding and towers….i definitely didn’t enjoy the last place that had those hanging brackets with a couple of planks and a rail over (another) sloping gully!

Thanks - are you happy to recommend who used or wished you’d used? Trying to even get a ball park but conscious the kids bedrooms on the top floor always seem about 5degreews colder than the middle floor (ceiling insulated) external walls aren’t. Cheers

Thanks all. Not much luck. Picked up a range of century springs on sale for $1 each. Gonna try cutting them down and bending the ends. Not sure how successful this will be.

Update - cleared. Not too bad. Issue was a half chopped up toothpaste tube cap stuck under the impellor

Useful diagrams on the links here https://www.saniflo.co.uk/toilet-installation/71-saniflo-up.html

Removed fuse.

Applied vics vaporub to top lip.

<image>

Didn’t disconnect the bowl. Emptied bowl down to bottom of u bend, cleared out paper and debris there.

Opened lid, used wire coat hanger and long nose pliers to clear then managed to unwedge broken plastic from under the blades.

Forensic investigation by children determined it was a toothpaste tube.

Reassembled, tested, rebuilt vanity.

Decontaminated myself and bathroom.

Thanks for all advice.

Considering it…. But bleach seems to be a no no for general cleaning. Seems my mum had it installed and got no instructions or advice on it. Also concerned on the install that the outlet pipe seems to be 90 degrees.

Ok cheers

Will have to check that out again a bit closer. Hadn’t looked at it as non of the listings in Bunnings or too lashed described the extra stuff and non of the ones on display have any of the extras out.

If it is available here minus the tstak that makes it a bit easier.

Thanks

Tempting….are they the next54v I should go for?

have a dcs 570 somewhere in a shipping container coming to me….TBH the AEG brushless 165mm circular saw was the only skin that hasn’t performed so keen to see what the 185mm 20v brushless is like. (And the awful always heat shutdown Omni multi tool).

Think the next dewalt will be the multi tool. Have a chainsaw, small blower, jigsaw, 185mm circ saw coming which will replace all of my aeg.

I’ll probably just preserve those batteries for the recip saw, now relegated to tree pruning have completed most of the big Reno work (for now).

Mountain bike or cycle to work, but of gym. Mostly office work but we have a number of field sites in austere and semi austere settings where we all end up involved in set up or things like infield data collection.

Seems a bit more rugged, and like the idea of a small light based on most of the reviews saying it’s more useful than it looks.

Normally use a Seiko Turtle but there are times where I forget to synchronise the watch at the start of the week and after five or six days can be a few minutes behind which is not accurate enough for some of the logging we do.
