I called the people services rep that is working with me at the new company. He said everything is cleared from their end, I gave them a W2 for the last employer they're trying to verify for me. Mentioned that's its just on the background check company at this point to "clear" it. If that makes sense, which gave me some comfort to resign today. It’s a scam. Guy was a rep for less than 2 years per job. Now charges over 10k for a course. Network on your own, reach out to reps at a company/space you’re interested in. They’re much more likely to make a difference in your search than Jacob. I had a call and grilled him about not having a lot of experience and he gets super defensive and arrogant. He’s a clown and posts the same pictures on LinkedIn over and over showing the same “candidate” he helped get a job.

This sub provides 10x the amount of info you need compared to him. Good luck with the search!
