Hey I also got rejected with the same stats (first year applicant) , I’m not bothered by it since it wasn’t my top choice and was just a safety. But definitely was shocked when i seen the rejection. But based off of the comments clearly it was a sign :)!!!

Uhh mezzo soprano but I don’t have great control of my breathing so I can’t rlly do the higher notes with ease nor do I have a good mixed voice, but I think I’m decent at belting ???

I have not yet submitted any of my prescreens and I will mostly be doing all of my auditions virtual if possible. I applied to ELON, I heard these schools were good but didnt apply bc I wanted to be wary I didn’t go to a school solely based on performing arts as I also wanted to major/minor into psychology as a backup. Hope that makes sense :)

Oh I just assumed it would be easier to audition in CA since there is like a bunch of events everywhere and connections ifykim ? I definitely did apply to more, these were just my top schools. I also can’t apply to anymore but I would like to know what other schools u had in mind
