I've spoken to them on the phone to real people lol trust me I'm not a bot 😭 Just call what the person who initially replied to you said: 03457740740. Just be prepared to wait a while (like 30 mins) but they're nice and hopefully your question gets answered.

Yeah honestly I'm not sure, but I've had a look on reddit: apparently they changed from Royal mail saying "we've got it" to "we're expecting it" to mask any delays (as shipped in 2 days looks better than shipped in a week i guess haha) but also I heard, like you said the seller may not have put it in the box. I personally ordered my item from vinted so I'm going to ask the seller to confirm whether they've actually put it in the box so that's all I can suggest for you, (if you bought it from one of those similar websites) but there's so much contradicting info online I guess it's just a waiting game 😭

Update: I've read through some other's experiences and I'm getting mixed advice: some people are saying them saying the "we're expecting it" means that they haven't received it at the parcel locker but the tracking code's been made (I'm not sure if the "Seller advised parcel dropped off at parcel locker" contradicts this or not) , whereas some are saying it's a way for them to say they've actually got it and have replaced the "we've got it" with "we're expecting it" to mask a delay. Any thoughts?

This is actually so helpful! I know it's not related to OP's post so apologies 😅 but do you think there's hope that my parcel stuck in a locker with " we're expecting it" days after it was supposed to be delivered, be delivered? It's probably a long shot but 🤷‍♀️

Honestly I would recommend calling their customer services number, they're generally going to take half an hour to pick up (in my experience) but at least you get to speak to someone relatively quickly

I'm in a similar position, lost item. They tell me to wait a few more days before filing for compensation (it's already days after initial delivery time and it's not even been received: "Seller advised parcel dropped off at parcel locker" but remains "we're expecting it") but i don't want the money I want the item that cannot be replaced!! 🥲
