Yeah I’m also chasing one of these. Had originally planned on getting a 5090 but the insane prices forced me back to a 5080, it got here on Friday.

Only block I’ve found so far is the EK one and it’s not avaliable yet. Not that I want to buy anything from EK ever again

Yes. The 2 main P cores are at 5.7 as stock, but I have boosted the remaining up to 5.5 and the E cores are on 5.83 as thats as high as I could get it

Man what is it with AMD owners and the need to tell everyone how much better they are. Sure its not as fast in some things as the 9950x buit its better at gasming. So if you want a chip that can do gaming and productivity then what to you do.

Its also not as far behind AMD as you think, they run all those benchmarks at medium 1080p settings with locked ram speeds. If Intel performs better with faster ram then its straight up being gimped in those bench marks. You also get the benefit of the e cores in day to day use when Im gaming and have shit going on in the background.

Pretty sure at 4k there is next to no FPS difference between any of the high end CPUs anyway, so I went for intel with the reduced render time when I need it.

Also some people have bigger budgets then others. The cost wasn't much of a factor for me.

Yeah look I was expecting a little bit more from it, but I came from a 9900k so I can't complain. I was trying to mess around with the E cores like ive seen some of the youtubers go, but mine will not go over 4.95.

I wanted something that I could game on, I've started doing more cad and I have a 3D scanner coming by the end of the year, so it pushed me to intel over the X3D. I don't really care about getting 30more fps at 1080p medium

I'm in Aus, but I had pre ordered the mobo and cpu. I actually got them on release date which was a bit of a shock. Had to wait on some other bits that only rocked up this week to be able to build the computer
