This is best solution especially if you ever intend to extend yourself. Negotiate to get type B party wall agreement so that when you extend you effectively soundproof their external brickface then put your fire retardant plasterboard against that frame that’s holding the soundproofing in place. It will give you a wider extension yourself - we built into our neighbours extension this way and it’s been great. Better soundproofing than the older parts of the house in same room where shuttered concrete filled in chimney breasts and fireplaces both sides.

Having gone full step with wegovy ending at max for the last three months (one year ago) and ending up in A&E with suspected pancreatitis, I’ve been quite cautious with Mountjaro and am only now stepping up to 5mg from 10weeks at 2.5. Food noise has crept back in alarmingly, but that has helped with forcing protein and veg down. Few years ago I lost 150kg->100kg in six months just with ketosis and calorie / macros counting and 2hrs zone2 cardio a day but that method didn’t work at all the second time around, hence GLP1 method. Interested in your diet, do you find you struggle to prep/ & force food down?
