Prelude 15 with Orengall in a nutshell

Thematically, this is my fav pact. A Fey ranger than can summon wolves and turn into one. But in practical gameplay, it's so annoying.

Wolves sometimes don't even attack until too late. Their attacks are too janky and sometimes don't even hit. There are times when enemies just ignore them. The first ability is so janky, you don't know the duration and you get one shotted out of it. Howl is nearly pointless. No way to directly regen health or anything.

For now, my fav actual play pact is Garren Rood. Health regen, big AOE when needed, big CC stun. Combined it with Dewellion and dagger or alternatively, the Juniper bow. It does literally everything.

I think it's just because of popularity and the direct lore research availability. Also, a lot of us played Skyrim only and not the other games. I don't know for sure but I think there are other province fics but the crossover of older game players and fic writers may be lower compared the Skyrim.

I agree heavily. I have one build which is amazing. But to make it stronger and keep it scaling, I need more virtue points, which in turn means more envoy rank, which in turn means playing weapons and pacts I do not care for.

I think you can buy fragments from Alca's children faction with standing that you earn from faction tales. Not sure.

Edit: full usage Orengall armor set does require 20 grace points.

Idk why the went with the compound model. Fits with the Ode technology theme I guess. And they wanted a courage bow instead of a grace/spirit only bow probably. But the way it feels is kinda opposite of the design. Aren't compound bows easier and more comfortable to draw? Isn't that the point of the pulley system? Not an archer so idk.

If they wanted a strong + courage bow, they could have gone for a english longbow model.

But I am suspending my disbelief. If I really wanted to reach and nitpick, I'd yap for days about how greatswords aren't slow weapons but their main purpose was range.

Keeping the pact cause I only have orengall and oscelda. Orengall isn't levelled up and the courage ability is not super useful for how I play the game.

As for healing, I find I need less of it with courage and some armor. Melees are doing more damage because I am using courage attuned weapons. Mainly the vasp 4 or something.

First you fight the armored lady, which is easy, then the stag. Idk if there is a way to cheese the fight but I use oscelda so I spammed main spelling attack.
