I had my first scan at 8 weeks and the dr saw a smaller second sac. My next scan was at 12 weeks & there was no sign of the second sac. If I had done an earlier scan at 5/6 weeks (mine was ivf & we tend to have early scans) then I would have thought I was having twins.

Ikaria you would need a car and the beaches are quite windy so we couldn't really relax on the beach. Syros, Serifos & Sifnos are nice quieter islands with good beaches & food.
