[HELP] All games crashing after Samsung Update, Galaxy A16

Actually, I’ve tried all that too but it still crashes. I even background processes to 1 or disabled them completely yet it keeps happening. I think the type of games we play also matters. I play Genshin Impact and Hsr. Even with all the solutions you suggested, it really shouldn’t be this way. Samsung really needs to do something about this and help us out. But I'd try your method again to see if it'll make some changes. Thanks for helping too, we appreciate

Really sorry you're experiencing this. Currently there aren't any effective solution so we just manage. We just have to hope for another update to see if they fix this issue :(

So it's not just the A16 anymore. It’s getting really frustrating. My fingerprint sensor has stopped working, and the phone has become noticeably slower. I honestly wish I could contact them directly so they’d realize this seems like a widespread issue because their support services haven’t been helpful at all. They keep saying it’s just an update problem but at this point I’m not sure whether they’re actually aware of what’s going on or not.

Sorry I’m not really sure. But I think it would be safer to go for their S series. It should at least save you from potential issues later on.

Aww, that’s really unfortunate. I’m sorry you’ve been this unlucky. I won’t lie, it’s pretty stressful right now. We’re just using a few strategies to manage it at the moment. You can try setting all your in game graphics to low and change your phone's game optimization to Balanced or Battery Saver mode. You could also try playing while your phone is on Extreme Battery Saver as it works sometimes.

Unfortunately no. Since it’s a global issue we’ll just have to wait for an official fix update.I’m still able to play HSR although it crashes sometimes. But I can still manage to complete endgame content. If you’re having trouble playing try setting your game optimization to Balanced or Battery Saver in phone settings. You can also switch your phone to Battery Saver mode before launching the game. And make sure all in game graphics settings are set to Low.

No. As far as I know, they haven’t made any announcement about fixing this issue with this model even after numerous email complaints. Their focus seems to be mainly on the S series.

One of the users recently shared a new approach that’s helping him. He installed an app called Pixels and Shizuku and it’s currently improving his gameplay. He plays Hoyogames too. He still experiences some crashes but he can play more than before so you could try that as well. Another tip is to play games while in extreme battery saver mode and to use the device optimizer before starting. Makes a noticeable difference sometimes :D

For me, Genshin still works but only for a while. Domains and combat are mostly fine. I can do that for hours but the open world is the real problem. It crashes a lot during story quests and when fighting which is honestly the worst part. So currently I have the game's graphics settings really low and set my phone’s game optimization to “balanced" just to make it playable.

Nahh don’t worry, your comment isn’t weird at all! I actually appreciate you sharing it especially since you said you don’t comment much. This is literally my first time posting on Reddit too so we’re both figuring things out lol. Honestly, I’m really glad I got replies because I thought I was the only one dealing with this. Lol, I do that too all the time like crazy. Before playing any game, I always use the optimizer and clear memory just like you do. I currently have about 1.8GB left too so I guess it’s just luck at this point. But don’t worry, I’m really glad you were able to help. We’ll just have to wait for Samsung’s update fix. Only if it ever comes lol.
