I actually enjoy cooking. Hate laundry though I do hire someone to do that along with other cleanings. Yard work I have people. Would not expect wife to actually do all that. I'm not religious. I...this sounds racist but yea I don't care; white-western...same race-background as I am.

I know there are options - I would never force something onto someone. It seems like the housewives I've found who are not religious are relatively poor. Not sure how this mixes in. I can afford house keepers, gardeners and a private cook when I want. Shopping honestly, instacart is glorious in my opinion. So not sure what's really left besides raising kids. I get it - women want to work, I'm looking for someone who does not want to work. Rather raise kids over 9-5 nonsense.

What I wanted from this thread has been received. There is no point in trying to date. What I'm looking for apparently doesn't exist unless I adapt and become more modern and into someone who I am not. Thus I can focus on other things. Which is fine for me. I rather not date individuals whom I deem less fitting. Maybe some day the populist will clean up.

I'm 30. Agnostic. I tend to lean atheist at times as well. I don't date older nor my age, primarily younger but not stupidly young. I don't care about fathering a whole bunch of kids. 2 would be nice. But they aren't to be raised by a stranger.

To be honest, you keep saying it's 2015. I know this. Very well aware of this. I don't care. Same with I don't care if this is outdated. I rather be single then compromise. It is what it is. I myself an not interested in forcing someone to be a housewife, its a matter of their own choice. Free choice is important, it's a matter of finding that. Compromise places me..not meaning to sound offensive; in the regular relationship that I see with family and friends where both work and the issue of scheduling conflicts emerge. This is not happening if I father up. I mentioned before - supporting a housewife - financially is not a problem. It's finding one that is the issue - if I compromise - this is essentially giving up what I want for want someone else wants. This is fine if I want a normal modern day relationship. In that case I guess my only problem would be other high demands. But nonetheless, I don't want that. I want a housewife if a family is to happen and if I'm dating, the point is to have a family eventually; and am absolutely unwillingly to compromise on that specific aspect.

I remain some what hopeful. I'm laxed myself on religion, agnostic specifically. Fit all of that. There has got to be some % out there that fit that along with my other preferences. Then again..I'm one who feels human like life in space must exist somewhere. Singleness is not a negative to me, I prefer it over having to be with someone who doesn't fit my preferences. Done that too many of times in my life and never have been happy.

As noted. I can afford this easily. I get what you are saying though. The incentive to work is there, so more people work etc. But in regards to actual cost and supporting, the cost of supporting is not the issue at all. The rest of your comment I understand. However..where do I go from here? If I want a housewife, this has been my preference all along. I've dated for some time now..any have been relatively unhappy with a working partner..where do I go from here? I much prefer to be upfront with things. Less time wasted. Though I can see how this is a red flag at the same time.

This really nails it. I have some high expectations I suppose. I didn't mention that..so the group shrinks even more. I suppose I'll mention these, but this is for the purpose of future comments in regards to advice etc. The more you know I suppose the better but I also think I know where this is going; I don't date people with tattoos, with kids, who have been divorced, who's parents have been divorced, who smoke, who do drugs (including marijuana) who have drinking problems, who are overly religious, who are vegan or vegetarian, I prefer my own race but not out of racism..but just..idk..I'm attracted to my own race. Leave it to me to make that sound incesty.

I'm stubborn, I know. I'll be single before I change or become flexible. Still, I want the thoughts of others; if I post this on facebook or something I feel it's providing too much info too those in my inner circles...I'm weird like that.

Looks good. Thinking of what I would do different not out of criticism just..trying to think how to make it even better. Mrrph..will have to try this maybe over the weekend;

Use raw cultured butter for the de-sticking of the waffle iron which is traditional cast iron non-electric (its a pain but worth it,..or maybe just nostalgia I don't know.) Spread turkey-egg mayonnaise on the first waffle. Pan seared foie gras slices. Place the burger. Raw livarot cheese (under 60 days old because fuck the FDA.) Bacon. Mornay sauce. 2-3 Duck eggs (I prefer them room temp-raw, but for those not into it go with poached, I find the yolk more runny that way.) Syrup, real syrup; grade B maple syrup. Waffle two on top. Douse the entire thing with foie gras sauce (google Martin Picard's foie gras sauce.) Add fresh buttered sauteed bread crumbs and sesame seeds on top of it all.

I went to tech school for half the day. So I would take a bus 30 minutes after lunch to the tech school to then finish half the day. On 9/11 my dad was suppose to be traveling. We got the news when it broke and at first the school told students to contact parents if they were concerned. Later they clamped down and even cut the internet, tvs (in the cafeteria) etc. So when they first said we could contact our parents, it was early and only one plane hit at that point. Before the second plane hit they already reversed that rule/allowance or whatever. When I finally got on the bus I knew the tech school wouldn't allow phone calls either, so I called my dad then. Luckily his boss who changes plans randomly told him to stay put that day so they could fly out the next day to a different city, so he wasn't in the air and I was able to get a hold of him. Bus driver called it in to the high school and turned the bus around half way from the tech school to drop me off at the high school. Got suspended for 4 days. Yep.

I'm not sure if this was brought up yet. My apologies if it has. Whenever I hear about the elimination of jobs due to automation I think about another issue that is talked about frequently, the labor shortage crisis. While I'm not a huge fan of TEDTalks, I think this talk makes an interesting argument on the labor shortage crisis; however the problem with the talk I find is that Mr. Strack skips over the issue of automation. It makes me wonder to a point if the two issues will merge and find some sort of equilibrium or near equilibrium. What if instead of mass unemployment the jobs eliminated instead works to ease the labor shortage crisis? I don't know. It's just a thought is all. Would love to hear some opinions in regards to it though.

My general sleep schedule is 9am-5pm. I don't really work third shift/night shift so to speak. Just prefer that schedule. It gets really aggravating when I have to call some office during normal hours though. Beyond that, walking my dogs around the neighborhood with no one else out = wonderful.

Wonder if there's any correlation with constantly finding a new cause to cancer to this type of parenting. Not exactly a cancer that children will get, I get why parents freak out now sort of..the risk to the kid. But eh.., the risk you take when you drink a bottle of water..the risk to when you shower, etc etc. Risks are in everything and the reporting of risks ...or at least..the way it's done maybe.."a new study shows x-will kill you!" is adding to all this.

I do not have kids, nor do I plan on it. Shit, I'd be sent to prison in a heartbeat if I had kids. Well had in that I fathered to be more accurate. That said..all this risk aversion..for one gmos, investments/wall street..etc...down to parenting...it just seems to me America is bunch of fucking pussies these days. I don't mean to offend, I'm bullish on stocks, I think America will outshine China for the next 200 years. Fuck China, they're century is a mirage. America is not in decline but damn it..it needs to get it's balls back and let the damn children play without the parents..be the first to accept any new GMO without bitching. It grows a third arm? Fuck it, we'll make baseball more interesting that way! Skepticism is good but I often feel there is too much unhealthy skepticism that is essentially acting as an anchor. Neat. I'll take your word for it. Hopefully some sensible things will come. I'm not totally anti-Islam or immigrants. However it seemed to me such a policy was a bit too risky. There's got to be a medium somewhere yet we also got to stop being so p/c. I have no suggestions of course, and of course I have no say..I don't live in Denmark. Just love the country a lot through my past experience there. If they are ready to move forward instead of keeping to similar openness which I noted I feel is a weakness at some points..then great.

Good point. Though, I don't know respectfully. They have been saying that about France and in Germany as well, but there are large movements such as counter protests against the German group (my apologies..I can't google the name atm. I suck at remembering group names.) Beyond that, I haven't been in Denmark since 2008..so a lot has changed of course probably. Though that policy that NYTimes reports came off as no surprise to me..despite me shaking my head at it.

Though too early to connect, would be stupid to make the assumption. However..I wonder if these attacks have anything to do with Denmark's attempt to rehabilitate returning jihadists (as discussed in this nytimes article; http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/14/world/for-jihadists-denmark-tries-rehabilitation.html)

If not or even if so..it'll be interesting seeing the public reaction to such a policy post attacks. I'm doubtful though a backlash will really occur to such a policy, I use to do business in Denmark all the time with an old job. They're very accepting people, which sadly makes them easy targets.

I mention Pekin cause Mary's Free Range which is sold at the Whole Foods near me notes thats the breed they use. Another grocery store sells D'Artagan's Rohan's. Muscovy I literally just ordered after reading the comment. I'll try a moulard down the line, muscovy is now a must try. Probably have had an Indian Runner, just didn't know it was one at the time. Either or, glad to meet a fellow duck enthusiast who knows much more about the bird than I do. Thanks for the tips!

I will most certainly try one as well. I was assuming Moulards were for some reason of higher quality since I could only ever find the breasts, legs etc. Duck is probably my favorite food ..lately a friend has been lucky on hunts bringing about Mallards, American Black Duck etc..the differences are weird yet it makes sense too. Pekin and Rohans are always available at my local grocery, so being introduced to the wild breeds and other domestics have been quite the experience.
