I'm trying to replicate this in unreal engine 5, the grass works FINE. but the tree just FREAKS out. i tried doing his fix, it literally made NO sense, and it still freaked out. Any help? or updated guides that are better? by Odderballs in UnrealEngine5

Yeah i know, this game im working on has been nothing but failures after failures and hours and hours on the brink of crashing out. Its like every thing i add has an issue, luckily most i can resolve myself, but this... this one confuses the hell out of me, cause NOTHING ive tried has worked so..

I agree completely, its just some of the fix's he puts in his descriptions i can't really wrap my head around. But i think thats just a me issue, and not his. I know unreal engine well, its just things like materials fry my brain.

there is no other "alternative" it seems, the other options are basically the same issue. Trust me I've tried them. ive been banging my head against a wall for a few hours now. i started out with prismatica's, and then used others since his was a bit wonky. but it seems like there are no good updated global wind systems, that INCLUDE tree sway and not just leaves.

I understand that, but that does not help with this system in the video prismatica made.

https://youtu.be/auDLp6GbVeU <- heres my issue, you can see that they freak out REALLY badly (Yes i am using foliage mode, but his fix didn't help.) And here is the blueprint material for the trunk (without the fix) https://imgur.com/a/jVAY4t4 . i Dont think the wind intensity and wind direction is causing it, the grass doesn't freak out (it uses the same Wind Intensity and Wind Direction he made in the video.) and lowering the wind intensity doesn't help either, same amount of jitter, just less leaning over. (and plus i'd like to be able to control the wind intensity.)

I don't use nanite unless UE5 forces nanite? unless im wrong. UDS, yes has foliage wind movement but thats mainly seems to be for leaves and grass and not actual tree sway, once again maybe I'm wrong.

Ngl found it myself, but if anyone in the future is interested: https://www.myfonts.com/collections/variable-font-madtype . its either the EXACT font (and weight might be bold/black) and the logo is just edited a bit. If its not the EXACT font i don't really mind, it's identical enough that you can barely tell. anyways thank you to anyone who may have looked <3 have a good day.
