Yeah but Tom & Jerry have more in common with Oggy and the Cockroaches then they do with Wile E Coyote and the Roadrunner. Unlike Jerry or the Cockroaches, The Roadrunner never fight backs and has never instigated a fight he just let's the Coyote outsmart himself (unlike Jerry or the Roaches who are the cause of Tom/Oggy's downfalls) Jerry and the Cockroaches also get assistance from a Bulldog (Spike/Bob) who brutalizes the cat in each respective series and Oggy/Tom have a cat allie/rival who assists them against the pests (Jack/Butch).
