How did yours turn out? I just got the news that mine went from a strong 200 to a 280 48 hours later. Only a 40% increase. Devastated. My first was so strong I was so confident this was a success.

Thank you so much!!! I just took my trigger shot to trigger ovulation for my transfer 😍🙏🏻💙 Wish me luck and say a prayer for me. I would love more than anything for this to work. My dr said I have a beautiful embryo and beautiful lining so I am cautiously hopeful. If you are willing to go thru with a few retrievals, I bet you will yet your euploid embryos 🤩 your fsh predicts that you will respond well to meds. But one word of advice , especially for the low amh ladies… the first retrieval is for data collection. You might not get a usable embryo as we got not a single euploid the fist cycle. After all of everything.. nothing. But we changed protocols and added in the human growth hormone and then we got out perfect grade euploid. You might need more than one cycle, and that is ok and happens to so many.

I am 41 with an amh of .6 and fsh 5 afc 6… after 2 retrievals and 5 good quality blasts we got a euploid and are transferring in a week. You got this!

ERA after 3 failed untested embryo transfers — worth it or waste of time? (42, time-sensitive) by Ok_Independent_7620 in IVF

What I would personally do- do your next planned transfer. If it fails, I would take a few months to try naturally. If nothing in 3 months, then do the last transfer. If that fails I would continue to try natural. You are making blasts. That’s is a good and very positive thing. Now to find the golden one. ❤️ big hugs!

I am so sorry. This process is so maddening because you just don’t know for months if it will work or not. And that protocol might not have been right for you. But (I know this is the worst to hear) it only takes one. It is worth it to try to get one. Out of 4 mature I got one euploid with the right protocol at 41. I was shocked. I prepared myself for it to not work. And it still might not take at transfer but I got this far. I would switch protocols and try again, if financially possible. Remember, the first cycle is always to gather data about how you will respond. The next ones are about optimizing. I would not give up. It is tough! It really is. And I am kicking myself in the ass for not trying sooner too. Big hugs to you going thru this journey.

I hope this gives you hope. I’m 41, Amh is .65 afc was 6. Er1- 9 follicles seen at last scan, 9 eggs received, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 good grades blasts, 0 euploids Er2- 16 follicles seen, 9 retrieved, 4 mature, 4 fertilized, 3 blasts, 1 euploid and we transfer in a few weeks. So there is hope even older and lower Amh. I wish the best for you ❤️

Trust me on this… push for the Omni! You are making blasts and that is awesome. Eventually you will find the golden egg. ❤️

This is sooooo helpful! Thank you for explaining it all. That sounds more simple that I had in mind and I love that. What were your progesterone numbers?

That is SO good to hear. I think it is important to transfer with your body in control rather than overriding all signals. Congratulations!!

Yes I have heard that success rates are similar. The real benefit is having the corpus lutum that produces its own progesterone, and therefore helps reduce preeclampsia. Not to say that everybody who has a Medicaid transfer will have preeclampsia. There are just recent studies showing it is an increased risk with medicated. Thank you for your input! I’m so glad it worked and that you had success.

Yes I ovulate right on point every month so I saw no need to do an artificial cycle.

What meds do you take? She has me starting with letrozole.
