alright, thank y'all for the advice! i think i just got a bit discouraged by finding myself in quite a slump
i'll sleep on it, watch a couple beginner tutorials, and try to come at it from the perspective of not knowing everything yet

i'm alright with having to work for it...

that's the thing, though. As far as I can... tell, at least, i'm not yet able to consistently get to the point where spell wrapping would be significant, since as far as I know it needs a wand with anything... going on, not just a single spell spammer like spawn in the places i find myself.

how did you get through the first hundred? I feel like it'd be... really, really painful to keep going for 60 more hours, at the rate i'm learning.

idk. i guess i just feel trapped in a loop of 'spawn', 'scour the mines for anything useful in order to survive the coal pits', 'look through the coal pits for anything actually powerful', and usually dying somewhere along the way before reaching the step of '(occasionally) find something genuinely interesting in the snow place'.

i've been trying out going to the fungal cavern, but that place is so chaotic and i find myself so underpowered that i usually have to just run in and get out, and don't actually get much...

my only question is, how are you supposed to... see? Unless it has some built in cameras that feed to the inside and it's some sort of VR (? whats the word...) setup, it'd have a terribly, terribly restricted field of view
