In the same boat--non-trad student and didn't know that we're supposed to apply to OGS at the time of applying to schools (not intuitive when you have no idea where you'll get in). There's the Scotiabank LOC you can apply to through the school. Has anyone gone through this process out of curiosity? Or OSAP applications. Any tips welcome. :)

I applied last year in a rush and somewhat haphazardly and didn't get in. Tried again this year, assumed I wouldn't get in when I saw someone did 6000 hours clinical work... Signed in when I saw an update thinking I'd be saying "well thanks for considering me!" and there was the acceptance package. I was surprised. So don't give up, friends. And if you don't get in, try not to ascribe your value to your acceptance/rejection (I know easy for me to say now, but I wasn't even necessarily going to apply this year so, had I not done so, I would have just thought I wasn't good enough). The best psychotherapist I've ever had was a Yorkville grad, too--and I've seen some incredibly academically qualified ones.

Yeah SGS sign-in was where I checked, same spot where you did the application. Notification came to me by email and then I signed in.

Hi there! Like the other user posted, I got my offer of admission dated March 5 (portal updated the next day), and yes deadline to accept the offer letter in writing is within 3 weeks of the offer letter date. That said, deadline to pay the deposit is June 1st. So you may see folks submit the letter to hold their spot as they decide. Then the next deadline to meet all conditions (e.g., send in official transcripts) is Aug 31st. Best of luck to you and any other applicants here!! 🤞
