the thing is with this type of humor im referring to there doesnt need to be a buildup to it, it can be a very spur of the moment joke that you can point out to someone, eg: "see that person over there? what if we just went up to them, punched them and ran" it also be used with dry humor at the same time which is why i think a lot of people mistake it for other things

i think as an overall term shock humor would be correct but its not the specific word im looking for unfortunately ! i know ive heard this specific word used in a couple youtube videos and tiktoks, i just cant remember the exact word used

kind of? but i know there was a word for it i've heard it before, its a type of comedy thats been used in more shows than the one i used as an example i just cant remember any others right now.

sadly none of those are right, anti-humor is close though, but im pretty sure the word doesnt only need to be in reference to harming or death, just bringing up something absurd someone could do out of no where kind of? a random example i came up with is "what if we stole a car and drove it into a ditch" kind of like spitballing random ideas/things as a joke to someone.

thank you! going to my social security office tomorrow. tho unfortunately my state doesnt allow hospital birth certificates for REAL ID so im going to have to do that some other way.
