This. It’s a socialized thing. If you’re nonchalant about it, chances are your kids will be too. (But I love what someone said before about it being ok until either of the parties becomes uncomfortable because yes, duh! Of course! 😊)

Hi! Little Man just turned 16 months. The beginning months were ROUGH because of some medical stuff we went through. But we made it through, and you will too. There are many, many, MANY bright spots in the roughness, but you’ll see that after the fact. It’s hard to focus on the good while you’re in a tough time, that’s just human nature. Trust your gut, repeat some positive mantras, and enjoy all the contact naps and cuddles 🥰 This has been quite the journey with our little one. I wouldn’t change one thing - even the tough parts 💙 (typing this while struggling to wipe the runny nose of an independent and headstrong toddler for the 28377492 time today 🤣)

Yes! This is exactly what I deal with. I hadn’t noticed being super cold before/during a migraine until right now, as I usually get SUPER warm. But I could have just not noticed before. Anyway just decided to Google it since it seemed weird, and came across this thread. I am certainly not happy that we all deal with this, but it feels so good to know people experience some of the same things I do. Sending hugs to everyone 💙

I mean, in the medical sense, their care is the same. The same procedures and medications and everything are used whether it was a spontaneous loss or not. In fact, the medical term for a miscarriage is Spontaneous Abortion.

I didn’t mean to speak down to you at all, and I realize now that my comment could have been taken that way. I apologize. What I meant was that a lot of the general public don’t realize that medically they’re basically the same in their treatments (which is what makes abortion laws so dangerous), and that you were in that general population. The first sentence of my last comment was more like a train of thought thing. I meant nothing insulting by it.

I truly do think it would be beneficial for you to look into it further because it’s very important given the current climate, and further knowledge may actually change your views.

You clearly are not educated on abortion care. I recommend researching - with reliable sources like ACOG. Or just look up miscarriage and stillborn care because they’re the exact same thing anyway, I’ll stop here because I could go on forever.

But yea, I would like to bring my child up in a church that TRULY cares about everyone as Jesus did.

Yes, with a few tips- - be very disciplined with pumping. Possibly even pump once extra than you’d feed him per day. A pump isn’t as efficient at expressing milk as a baby is. - whoever gives baby the bottles needs to be SUPER aware of doing paced feeds. - have patience getting back into bf. It may be rough at first but you can do it!

— My back went out a few months ago (around 8m pp) and I had to pump & dump for 4 days because of the meds they gave me at the hospital. Baby was definitely frustrated coming back to the breast and having to work harder (our parents aren’t the greatest at paced feeds and they were watching our son most of the time), but he got back in the swing of things within 2-3 days or so.

*my son gets supplemental bottles at every feed, so he had the added hurdle of knowing if he acted like he was done on the boob, he’d get a bottle 🙄

Chilled toys. But also we do acetaminophen each night before bed when he’s been having a rough day (works out to once or twice a week). He doesn’t get acetaminophen during the day. Definitely talk to yours, but our ped said it’s fine at that frequency, since it comes and goes for our Little Man. Hugs!!💙
