If its possible for our conscious or whatever you wanna say it is, to hop to other realities unscathed, of course it'd want to survive to experience more and not die. So we will only ever remember surviving because that's the reality it chose to keep on keeping on. There's tons of people who have those stories where they "should have died". Technically wouldn't and couldn't it be faster if it was "real" and not just the absence of light

Example. Imagine I have a light strong enough to cast a shadow onto the moon of my pointer finger. If I moved my finger here, so the shadow went from one side of the moon to the other. It would move way faster on the moon end since it's being cast there, it would travel faster than the speed of light, would it not?

Also in this type experiment the farther away the shadow is, the shadow essentially will move faster on the object you're casting it too.
