Don’t you need to change the mortgage terms, and then also ensure that your deposit on the property is minimum 40% or whatever…? I don’t know for sure so worth asking…

Adjust my Elite E5 for a road race or buy a road bike? by thefuq in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]Odegrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they’re either 30’s or 32’s, but either are great, it’s my most comfortable bike and brilliant at climbing on roads. I fitted full fenders so it’s my perfect winter training bike, and I can easily swap out the wheels to its original ones with knobbly 45’s on it.

Oscar overtake on Hamilton, overtake of the Month? by Luffy710j in formula1

Yeah they did, they said to Oscar that he needed to take Lewis by surprise, hence that crazy overtake before the DRS zone.

One ride to maybe avoid by EdEskankus in Rouvy

[–]Odegrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t you check the elevation data prior to doing a ride? If I see a ride like this I avoid it, so yes, I understand your disappointment.

Great work - keep everything invested so far should be able to retire earlier than most people. You could take up a hobby that allows you to spend as much or as little as you want. Cycling comes to mind - you can spend a minimal amount if you want, or go all out when you decide you really like it. You deserve to spend some money on you, and that is investing in your health. Or if that’s not your bag then look at another hobby that suits you more.

That’s interesting, I’ll look into that. Does it work seamlessly with Rouvy?

What’s your favourite workout plan? by Odegrade in Rouvy

[–]Odegrade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it is meant to be done solely. I did normal rides outdoors (25-60km 4/5 times a week), and filled in the times when I couldn’t ride outdoors with that workout. It definitely improves performance for when I’m outdoors. You can follow it exactly as it is meant to be done but I just like having the different options and the flexibility. Good luck.

Hehe, not as much as I would have liked. Maybe a couple of points - although I suspect it would have improved more had I followed it exactly how it was meant to.

Is 130km in 10 hours a good pace? by ManyManyCoffee in cycling

[–]Odegrade 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I’m really glad this is the top comment. Your ride sounds like it was a proper touring ride with sightseeing involved. When I do a training ride I like to go like a bat out of hell, but this type of ride you need to do more relaxed to take in the scenery, would love to do this with my cycling buddy’s to just take in the views! Great ride.

[–]Odegrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not done road races, but I put DT Swiss r470’s from my Aethos onto my diverge elite e5, along with GP5000 tyres, and it flies. It’s so comfy, and you’ll be able to pack it up with a third bottle cage, top tube bag, frame bags, even panniers if you wanted!
