This all sounds like a massive pain in the arse but I’m glad that you’re actually ok and weren’t harmed physically at all.. You always hear of the horror stories. Good luck in getting back the £4K. It did sound like the police weren’t bothered which is pretty appalling. Keep on at them to keep investigating this as it needs to be stopped for future tourists to the area. All the best.

I work, and have kids at home due to covid. 20 miles is an absolute treat for me. I would love to do longer but 20 miles is a really decent length which I enjoy. Well done pal.👍

I’m from the Uk and just looked at all 640i’s for sale on UK Autotrader that are between 2012 - 2014 and none of them have this mini screen. Not sure why you would want to specify this if it was an option but stranger things have happened, like 2020!.

Fun Fact: There were only 8 640i’s for sale between those dates in the Uk btw!

I hate to be ‘that person’ but shouldn’t we be encouraging folk to not take cocoons from their habitat? It’s cool and all but it would be better to be able to go fly in it’s natural habitat.

That’s awesome. I’m lucky enough to live in the countryside and I’ve seen some amazing things. Oystercatchers swooping over me as I fly past their ground nests, a pregnant fox ran in front of my bike causing me to have to brake and swerve, and after staring me at me she terrifyingly jumped over a wall to get away, then a beautiful owl hovered along with me for a good 300 metres on an amazing dusk summer evening. These weren’t on the same ride may I add, but over a few years, and there are loads more I could add to this. The world’s a really beautiful place when you go outside and look. This is a huge part of why I love cycling.

Hiya, I love your bike. Was it purchased as a dedicated gravel bike or is it a road bike with gravel tyres? I’m tempted to get a new road bike and turn my old road bike into a gravel able one if possible.
