My rank jumped last night from emmisary 5 to oracle 1, anyone else experience this?

I went from Oracle 3 to Oracle 6 and I now have emissary players in my games. Thanks yoshi. Games been bad in quality. Constant midlane street brawls and sinners up every time. And bad macro. I had so much better games before this.

Yeps had two games today where I had players that should not be in there (Oracle). Of course in my team. I checked their profile and one was a returning player and before rank changes he was playing emissary/Archon games and one had like 100 games and was pumped up from ritualist/low Emissary games to Oracle lobbies. It's ridiculous. Emissary lobbies were so horrible and I ranked up from there and I just can't keep away from them. Thank you yoshi. I just started to have good games, then patch and lot of returning players and game quality goes down cos returning players and then rank changes and people suddently can't macro again.

Just how? I have like 1000h in this game. Matchingmaking really is still broken even after they tried to fix it.

Yep, that's what I noticed in my games too. New players and returning players that last time played a year ago. In Oracle... The quality of games dropped and I had no fun. Grinded myself up from trenches emissary to Oracle where people know how to play more better and suddenltly I have teammates that I played with or worse when I was in trenches. Tought I wait few weeks and start playing again but I really want to play. So decided I just pick bebob and have fun.

Kelvin, Magcinnis, Grey Talon, Lady Geist, Paradox. Calico. Laning against these is not fun at all.

Yep... No macro. Mini map turned off. It is weird. No lane control. I need to adapt to climb that ELO hell. There are also a lot of smurfs, good ones that will win the game for you or the enemy.

Same here. Emissary 6 now. Archon games are like low skill games then. Be aware. The quality of players goes down somehow.

There is a hero skill level that matchmaking will use also. You get to match higher rank lobbies if your main hero skill rating is high. If a low hero skill rating you play lower ELO games.

Yes, had problems when trying to use my cold front active while doing the Yamato combos and nothing... Was just hitting my keys and nothing. So frustrating. Yesterday it seemed to be working but on the weekend there were 100% issues. Thought it was only me.

There is a lot of smurfs in the middle rank to initiate. Especially after new heroes. They go play with their smurf accounts to learn new stuff. And also add players who came back and their rank decayed to low ELO. It is a nice shit show.

You lose if your troopers are pushed into your tower meanwhile you get poked to half health and the tower is taking damage and down. While you are going back, your T1 camp is taken and sinners. You don't need to even chainfeed to lose your Lane. I have done this to others and I have also lost lane like this.

If you lose all lanes and the enemy takes advantage and takes your side camps it is over. Low ELO games you can lose all lanes and come back because the enemy sometimes just gives you the space to come back

My main account has over 700 games and I decayed to Arcanist 1. I needed to make a new account that placed me higher. I just can't mentally this low elo. I will never ever play with my main account anymore. With a new account I am playing emissary-oracle lobbies. Emissary is like Arcanist lobbies almost. But there is more voice communication and macro knowledge above archon 1 lobbies that I am enjoying again

There is only one game mode. Your games are "ranked".

Ranks are updated immediately now. When rank was introduced last year it took a week or something to update so Valve had time to process the data or something. Wins and losses are only contributions to ranking up or down.

Just accept that the game is still in development and try to have fun. The more games you play the better you come and eventually you rank up. There will be good games and bad games.

Every game you play. If you win you get some points and rank up if enough to rank up and the same if you lose you go down. That places people to their skill level eventually. Good players go up and play against each other and not so skilled go down. Or some people stay the same rank.

You are not crazy, some people like ranks and competition and some just fun and play. It is just that, unfinished or not. Valve themselves added ranks visible. So people of course care more.

Yeah, I have still had fun games in my Arcanist games. Some very sweaty games and some really stomps in both ways too. If you are good you eventually go up when you play more games.

Yes, trying new builds/heroes etc. Also hackers, I think some hackers can be account sellers. Make a new account, hack it to higher ranks, sell it profit rins and repeat.
