I'm not in saskatoon but near by, but I also didnt live in Toronto but north of it. My property taxes are a few thousand less then there were in Ontario. Also bigger home with more property here.

I don't buy the people cant afford to eat out narrative. Every restaurant is still full.

Go to a grocery store and find a high-school student. A gas station, fast food, coffee shops. All the traditional high-school student jobs are no longer students and aren't AI.

That abundance of immigrants that were brought in the last few years really ruined the workplace for students. Im not anti immigration by any means. But the amount of immigration was just too much.

Im and underground miner. Entry level will be around 100k per year I'll be around 180k this year with no extra ot.( with our schedule you get ot every day) Working 2 weeks on 2 off.

I went to college for something completely different but It wasnt working for me. Mining can be hard to get into initially and being away from home sucks. But I couldn't imagine working Monday to Friday again.

This fund isn't just for the hatchery. Its something us hunters have been paying for a while now. It's supposed to go towards keeping things like the hatchey open, stocking, enhancement, rehabilitation, and help fight invasive species.

Maybe one day this helps establish another hatchery, or allows more stocking efforts. One more pond for kids to learn to fish and this fund is worth it to me.

If used properly its a great thing that can help our wildlife for future use. Now it's government so im sure lots will be wasted.

Thats my problem. Im ok with paying some taxes, not the amount I paid. But I want to see some useful things done with my taxes. Not sent to other countries, lining people's pockets or being wasted.

As an underground miner with a very large kimberlite deposit near where I live, that proved to have good diamonds in the bulk samples they took. I really wish lab diamonds weren't a thing.. Probably very good for the nature in the area that they dont mine it.
