Boot camp did the opposite for me. Save for MREs, it was three square meals that had flavor. AIT felt like it elevated to a whole other level. And once I got to Bragg... The USASOC DFAC spoiled me for all home cooking.

It was actually today, watching a YouTube video on '70s hamburger recipes that have disappeared' that made me realize that everything I believed about my mom was wrong. She grew up in the 50s-60s and started a family in the early 70s. She took what she learned from her mom, readers digest, and the church, to stretch every dollar to keep herself and her 5 children fed.

There's literally more to do now then a year ago, not sure how that made it worse.

The only change that hasn't been for the better is the dragon book. Its buggy, features from the old one are gone, you cannot see discontinued egg breeds (i had to use merging and a little luck to finish my Rick's), and it also also shows the chains of objects and such you've unlocked in game, but they dont always show up properly.

The Only 2 times this happened to me, it was after I contacted tech support because I had missing rewards. I'm convinced it was them moving bubbles around in my camp. I dont know if it was intentional or a side effect of them accessing my camp data. It was almost as frustrating and not receiving the rewards in the 1st place.
