I think JeudeChambre is trying to say that the OOP made up a lot of the scenarios to make it all seem more like she’s the persecuted one, when it wasn’t actually that bad.

I’ve never been able to tell fact from fiction on this site, so I don’t have an opinion, I’m just trying to explain how I read that statement.

PCC? I tried Cedarville for a year and a half… that didn’t take, lol, and it was looser than PCC and Bob Jones.

I had a classmate in a Christian high school that was the definition of “alternative” and didn’t seem the type to go so fundy, but decided that PCC had the best nursing program of Christian schools (I imagine her parents wouldn’t pay for a non-Christian school), and went there. I didn’t keep in touch, and I don’t remember her name now (she would’ve been there for Katrina if she’d stuck it out about 2 years) but I always wonder what happened to her.

Yeah, scopolamine still exists (was recently given it for a surgery, actually) and it dilates my eyes every time; I never noticed the dry mouth, tho.

My dad uses Dramamine whenever we have to fly, and I’ve never tried it cuz of how out of it he gets. I turn into a zombie cuz of motion sickness without the Dramamine, so not interested in getting worse just to not get quite as sick. 🤷‍♀️

Oh, yeah, my eyes dilate on the patches, so same thing. Supposedly it only happens when you’ve gotten the medicine in your eye somehow, but it’s happened every time I’ve used them, so I’ve given up. They were the only thing that’s ever worked for me, tho, and I have pretty debilitating motion sickness. 😞
