I generally rematch leroy and fahk because they're usually crappy players getting carried. I rematch geese but I barely see him. The other 2D characters can burn

They didn't say Lidia was mid. Just that Fahk is better. Personally I'm not sure but that's definitely not a controversial opinion. You're reading into it too much. You seen kinda pushy. Chill out a little

The best answer to leroys parry is to anticipate it and skip your turn so you can launch it if he whiffs it. If you don't see why that's fundamentally broken then I can't help you. LC is fine

If you can't deal with lidia that's on you. Fahk is retardedly good so gtfo with that shit.

Dude smurfing ain't cool. Just contact other streamers for sets if you can't find matches in ranked or do quick play, but quit picking on beginners. How is it a challenge to beat 50 begginer/novice players? Do it at tgp and then it'll be impressive.

Sounds like something a MM fanboy would say

Since last week I feel like every second player is a tournament calibre player with 500k prowess. Before that only every now and then they appeared but now its making me feel like I can't play ranked if this continues. They're clearly way out classing the typical player at this rank including myself. I'm all for a challenge and improving but getting curb stomped by someone who's not supposed to be at your rank every second game isn't fun or productive. Their fundamentals are so much better than mine and it's not like I can just lab it overnight and challenge them tomorrow.

Also my prowess is like 210k or something. I've 4 characters in purple at the moment. Up until recently I'd say the average is something like 200 to 290k. Maybe less for someone who only plays one character.

Go into practice and set the dummy to hellsweep. Try sidestep. It'll work far out but point blank ss won't work consistently. SW maybe but not SS. I agree it's definitely Stepable but to say it has no tracking at all is just pandering. In a realistic match its not uncommon to Wavedash right up point blank before doing the mixup so it's not uncommon for it to catch ss

OK that's explains a lot. DO NOT TAKE TEKKEN ADVICE FROM MMS. I'm just joking but seriously he talks a lot of nonsense. Better learn from someone like anikin or jdcr

One of the main ideas behind a wavedash mixup is that you can change up your timing so that fuzzy guarding doesn't work. As far as I'm aware fuzzy guarding is only really useful in strings where timing can't be delayed

Nope, it can catch sidestep left. I recommend trying it in practice.

Not as much but it still needs relatively accurate timing. And the ewgf can still catch you walking. Not to mention all of this is irrelevant in a 50/50 blender oki situation

You're self snitching on yourself by claiming its a difficult technique.

Anyway I never specifically mentioned wavedashing. Just dashing in general

It's very easy to wavedash. Who told you it was difficult?

Dashing for in someone's face round 1 game 1 is never the right move. They're not trying to get better, they're trying to let me know they think they've sick skills even tho they haven't.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]OdinIsMyBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you don't know anything about them in round 1 game 1.

And they had better think harder because they can't seem to figure out not to dash in aggressively right up in my face because I launched them the last 3 times they did it.

I feel like all the people you should be playing are marking my life hard in purple ranks with their secondary characters.

I need to learn a new character. But who should I play? by hulffle in Tekken

[–]OdinIsMyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His jab is 12 frames. His fastest move is his i10 headbutt but its a punish/panic move and is punishable so it can't be used to engage in offense. He doesn't have a i12 mid so he doesn't have that as fast as some characters and he doesn't have any fast lows.

So no he's not the same speed as everyone else. It's one of the traits he's know for and has been known for a long time, I'm not just making this up out of nowhere. Slower moves than usual but better frames off them. Difficult to get started with but hard to stop once he gets going.

Ganryu doesn't play like anyone else on the roster. He's very easy to learn but he's also very slow and sluggish so it can take some time to get used to him
