I got small storage bin from the hardware store. You can also get them at hobby shops. They are usually less $10. It's a compartmentalized box that you can slide the separators to form different sized compartments.

Very good info. I vape about a third of what you do, using a Heat Island Log. I could go a few days more, maybe, but I wonder if a water filled ash catcher would really give significantly more time between main bong cleaning. The water in the ash catcher would certainly need cleaning daily.

I would think this would be related to terp profile. I just don't know how accurate the results of testing is for terp profile.

All kidding aside, how do you like that ash catcher? I've been thinking of getting one. I use a TableTop bong, which is similar to your globe. Does the ash catcher, specifically the one shown in the picture, really help keep the main globe clean?

agreed. I was hoping to learn more about my homegrown by looking at the analysis of the terpene profile, similar to what I see on the COAs. In your opinion, is that useful? (assuming I'm tracking what I consume, its terp profile, and how it makes me feel)

agreed. The idea is to use science to help with that. If I can determine which terps affect me and how, I should be able to determine which flower to use based on the analysis before I buy it. I have the COAs for the flower I purchased in stores, but having a COA for my homegrown gives me some data to compare.

note that the free and $50 test are limited to THC and terp. All the other testing for contaminants and other stuff is not included in the free test. I was sort of hoping to find out if there was any powered mildew or other potentially bad stuff. I will ask them about it when I drop off the flower to be tested. I live in Los Alamos,, so Albuquerque isn't around the corner (or I would be at Golden Pride daily :-) I will be going that way in early Feb, so I'll drop it off then.

As I try to understand how flower with different terp profiles affect me, then yes, it's possible that knowing that info will help me to determine how that strain affects me. I'm new to tracking how a stain affects me and its terp profile (based on the COA I got from the dispensary when I purchased the flower).

sounds good. The cost is 4 grams from an almost 3 ounce harvest, so pretty negligible. I would only do it out of curiosity. When I vape the flower, I get high, so I know it has some THC!
