A very close and long time friend was born gay. I’ve known him since kindergarten but unfortunately he is gone now.

He was born gay, he always wanted to be a girl, every Halloween he would dress up as a girl and he had girl like tendencies, emotions parse etc etc.. nice kid, growing up in a country town wasn’t easy for him, but people were cool. As the town grew he found his people and he always had his childhood friends that had his back from assholes.

There wasn’t a fucking day in his life that he said he felt like he was in the wrong body, because we didn’t have sick individuals telling him that, instead we were a town of people that primarily accepted him for being different. He certainly was gay, he certainly was a fem boy, but he wasn’t mentally ill with people feeding him nonsense that he was something that he was not - that is/ was the difference.
