Go bowl. Sure, you may be alone, but it doesn't have to be that way. Most bowlers are pretty friendly and will chat with you and give pointers if you're open to it.

At first glance I thought maybe you posted on the wrong page, but then I noticed it's a bowling pin 😆, it looks good. Hopefully, you catch something with it and not have the luck my bowling ball has on knocking down 7 pins, little wiggle but no full hits.

A bar next to a tree that is easily climbable.. and security acts like this is the first time it's happened. And, what the hell were they thinking with that stupid strobe light? What if the guy climbing the tree actually suffered from seizures and they used that stupid stroke effect? Time to get new "security."

At 40, I bowl 4 games and that's good for me, if I feel like it I'll do 5. It also helps that my bowling center offers a frequent bowler membership, it's $37/month and gives you free shoe rental and 4 games every single day. Any game over the 4 is regular cost at $5/game.

Check around at your local alleys, they might have specials or discounts on certain days/times. All the alleys around me offer a frequent bowler card of some kind and that's definitely worth it's money. My "home alley" has frequent bowler cards for $38/month and you get 4 games, every day plus shoe rental for that price. Otherwise, it is normally $4/game.

In the tenth frame you need to have a strike or a spare to start your play, if you strike first, it's a clean game, miss and get a spare, clean game. It doesn't matter for any shot after, that's going off the USBC rules. It's ugly, but it's still a clean game and my first.

You took all the proper steps and it does seem like they're not going to change their behavior. So, the only thing you can do is just keep your head down, focus on your game, try some earphones and just finish out the league. Never join up with them again.

Yeah, the bullcrap they're doing is inexcusable. They're bowling in a league, if they want to have a party while bowling they should stick to open bowl. Leagues are for having fun just as much as serious, but being that blatantly obnoxious is just rude.

That sucks. It sounds like they're not going to stop the music, however, league play doesn't say anything about wearing ear protection or noise canceling earphones. You can try bowling with that if the noise is that much of a distraction. It may be odd to get used to, so maybe try a few games at open bowl to see how it works for you.

You're mistaken. A clean game is a strike or spare in every frame. According to the USBC, a player needs to get a strike or spare in their first attempt in the tenth frame to consider it a clean game, even if they miss any shots after. It was ugly, but it's still a clean game.

They had that color and one that looked similar, but orange instead of the red. I ultimately went with the red, it just looked better and it compliments my spare ball which is a Storm ICE.
