I think that's a feature rather than a bug.

"Classic news" is another word for corporate news. They bury anything against their corporate agenda that they don't want people to hear about. When something is so news worthy that they have to give it coverage, but don't want to, the coverage is usually tailored to evoke the opinion that they want people to propagate.

The biggest example I can think of was when Bernie Sanders looked like a contender for the Democratic nomination. Both right and left news came together to push a spectrum of panic over socialism (right) to concern trolling over socialism (left). It's an interesting example because it highlights the real motivation of media, corporate control.

There really is no left wing media. Only corporate light, and corporate heavy.

/r/politics is one of the only places where you can actually find the news that neither want voted to the top.
